I need some images for my powerpoint presentations and some animations as well. Is there a site that has some for free?

I have a Dell D620 widescreen laptop and I want to know how to view powerpoint presentations in Full Screen mode on my Dell D620 or any other widescreen monitor. Currently, when I play presentation on my widescreen it doesn’t go Full Screen, but instead it displays 2 black vertical bars on sides.

I’m taking some online courses and a lot of the background material for our assignments is in powerpoint presentations. Unfortunately sometimes the teacher talks too fast for me to take notes. Is there a way to pause the voiceover or do I just have to restart every time?
