Hey
next year I’m going to an entirely different school, and I’ll be learning a lot for webdesign. My "new" courses will be:
Flash
ActionScript
Dreamweaver –> Adobe Dreamweaver
CSS
HTML
PowerPoint –> Microsoft Powerpoint
Out of those, I figured I’ll need PowerPoint and Dreamweaver. For the other courses I’m not entirely sure, and I’d appreciate some help as school is getting awfully close now.
Thanks in advance
I am in middle school and i have way too many projects to count and have lots of hw that needs to be typed. and my mom is always on the cp checking mail and so i my dad who is on for hours at a time so i really need a computer for all my personal things.
for christmas i am getting a laptop. i prefer a mini so it is portable. i don’t want a clunky laptop. a mini or a small laptop is fine.
so i was wondering what laptop has a lot of memory, a webcam, not clunky(manageable to carry around) and is overall a Great laptop for a student. my first choice is the HP mini series laptop. its portable and small but my dad isn’t so sure if it was the greatest memory space so that HP is kind just hanging there for now.
I love HP’s i really want my laptop to be hp.
My real first choice is a mac book but those things are crazy expensive! that really would of been a great laptop for me bc i love making and editing videos and photos and using powerpoint. but Mac is too expensive. =(
so i am asking u guys for a great small laptop that was a webcam and has good memory space for my projects and all my pics and videos.
Oh! and of course is not expensive.
THX
I want to get a laptop for christmas but im not sure which company i should go with. ive used windows for as long as i can remember, and of course, the grass seems greener on the othe side, so im wondering, which computer will best suit my needs? I use the internet a lot for social networks, internet games and research. I want to be able to play games on it and use photoshop type programs. I dont really care about any of the office tools, maybe a wordpad for typing up papers but i dont care about the other stuff windows offers (excel, powerpoint etc). I dont know much about the internals and fancy geek talk with computers so all of that jargon wont mean anything to me lol
This is an area I don’t know much about obviously.
I need it to make nice adds on auction sites among other things. I want the final result to have image format so I can upload it to the site as an image (jpeg). The image should contain a mix of pictures headlines, text and graphics to make it look real good.
Currently I’m using Powerpoint to make nice adds but I can’t save the result as an image so I have to make a screen print to transfer it to mpeg format which results in slightly blurry images plus I can’t use different sizes and dimension for the picture. And of course it is probably a rather stupid method to use. But I don’t know any other way.
So please enlighten me! I want a program that is basic and easy and that can be learned fast.
Thanks!
I am currently a college student interested in perusing either a journalism, or chemistry major. If the latter is taken I will continue my education to pharmaceutical school to earn a higher degree. As a student I am looking for a laptop that is convenient to carry from class to class and something that is durable. Moreover, I would like a computer that is capable of running several programs without difficulty (Google Chrome, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, iTunes, etc.)
I really like the look of Macbook Pros and find their touchpad extremely convenient. Therefore I am interested in either an Apple computer or a computer running Windows OS that is capable of having a more complicated touchpad.
I am pretty flexible on price, however I would not like to purchase something more than 00 (hence, no more expensive than the 13-in Macbook Pro). Recently I have been using Windows 7 on my PC and really enjoy this OS, perhaps even more than the Mac OS.
I would really appreciate a computer that is lightweight with a good battery life. Wireless internet is a must, of course. I couldn’t care less about screen size, the smaller the better. Hard drive, too, is not a big issue (150gb minimum, 2-4gb RAM).
What would you recommend if you were in my position?
Hope that wasn’t too long. Thanks for any help.
I think I’m going to get the ThinkPad SL510 Series. Lenovo seems really nice.
