I made a Powerpoint presentation using size 28 font, no shadowing. I saved the presentation and opened today and it was all size 32 font with shadow. I changed it back to 28 no shadow, saved, reopened, 32 font with shadow. Why is it doing this? How can I make it stop?

    Are you saving it into a version of ppt older than what you are making it with? This may mess with fonts, layouts, transitions, etc.

    Have us used the Slide Master/s?

    It sounds like PowerPoint is reapplying the formatting in the slide master.

    If you want to make the formatting stay a certain size:

    View -> Slide Master

    Change the two boxes (Title and text) to the size you wish to make your slides, across the presentation.

    Close -> Slide Master

    You may also want to investigate turning off the automatic updating of the styles. This may be a check box in the Tools -> Options setting.

    Slidemaster has some options that will confine that size of your font.
