I am going into grade 10 and need a laptop since my desktops sucks now and is really slow. I am going to be doing a course called planning online and i will want to play the occasional game (the ones I want should run fine). I am also in a jazz band and would need to write solos. Would a regular macbook not the pro work well for me?
Also does Microsoft Office stuff like Word, Publisher and Powerpoint work on a macbook?

NO because most public schools use windows based pcs and even though microsoft makes office for the mac the file extentions are not the same and will on be compatible if you need to transfer from a mac to a windows based pc
