Select the slides from presentation A – either from the slide sorter or the thumbnails on the left side of the standard view. Copy them. Go to presentation B and the same view. Select the slide you want the new slides to go after. Paste.
And I’m pretty sure that up until this point, that’s exactly what you did. The trick is – as soon as you paste, go to the bottom of the inserted slides and you should see a little icon that looks like a clipboard. Click on it and select Keep Source Formatting. Done.
