I need a laptop , for no more than around £400 .
I have no idea what one to get , although i was thinking the dell inspiron 1525 , but apparently hp’s + acer aspire laptops are better.
I’ll be downloading msn for sure, itunes, uploading photos & of course using word, powerpoint etc. I may watch movies too ![]()
What laptop would be best for me that will last at least 3 years?
Parents are so stupid!! I mean c’mon – "I need a laptop for my education"!
This is simply a collective lie that all children have told their parents. Boys want a laptop to play games and watch porn; girls want laptops to look at shoes or whatver.
any acer laptop is good.
hmm…i would recommend a dell, samsung, toshiba or acer laptop..
hp laptops are no good..i have one and i had to return it several times due to hardware issues..and some friends who had hp laptops said they had issues too..
just some things to look at when buying..
i would get a laptop with an intel processor..AMD are crap! – either core 2 duo or centrino 2 technology..however intel celeron is also crap lol..also look for something with a clock speed of about 2.2Ghz, but 2Ghz minimum..
as nearly all laptops come with vista, i would recommend at least 2GB ram..3GB is optimum
hard drive space – well thats up to you, but 250GB is about standard these days..
I would recommend a Dell Inspiron 15. You can get one with a built in webcam, a 250 gig hard drive, 3 gig memory. I bought one and i really love it. I have itunes and it works good with it. It will only cost you about $500.00
sony vaio vgn-ar series are all brill, not all of them are very portable, but most come with high-def, and I don’t know if they all come with office 2007, but my one did.
