If you have Microsoft for Mac 2008 you should be able to open the file as is.
If you have an earlier version, save the file in the 97-2004 format (this works the same for Word and Excel), instead of the pptx extension it will have ppt (docx – doc, xlsx – xls).
you can try iToolSoft PPT to DVD, it can convert PPT to DVDs and then you can watch those converted DVDs on your Mac.
