Hi Laura. Thank you for posting this! I was pretty good at doing this with previous versions of PowerPoint, but 2007 threw me for a loop. Just showing me where the developer tab was was a huge help. You’re an awesome person!

Use “ZillaTube” to download from YouTube…… at fast speed to your computer, and also convert so easily to good quality powerpoint video file.
Then just insert that video into your powerpoint
just google for “ZillaTube”, and download it from the first google search result.
It works awesome with “ZillaTube”
HOW TO MAKE THE “SHOCKWAVE FLASH OBJECT” APPEAR IN YOUR CONTROLS OPTIONS: Flash MUST be installed on your IE browser, or this will not work.
For two hours I tried to follow these awesome instructions but could not see anything besides “Shockwave ActiveX Control”. Update Adobe Flash on your IE browser, and the “Shockwave Flash Object” should show up. Problem solved!
