I would like to send someone a powerpoint presentation via email. When they open the file, I would like the Powerpoint to start the presentation immediately. However, so far when I open the attachment, the whole program opens (showing all the slides and toolbars, etc.) and I need to press view or F5 to start.
Does anyone know who to save/send a file that opens the presentation immediately?
save as a show
Send it as a .pps , a powerpoint slide show, not as a .ppt powerpoint file.
no
Just go to this article that introduce you two methods to create a video with powerpoint and then post it with e-mail:
E-mail a presentation with video format easily
http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/learningcenter/e-mail-a-presentation-with-video-format-easily.html
Save the PowerPoint presentation (.ppt or .pptx) as a PowerPoint Slideshow (.pps or .ppsx) file using File -> Save As -> PowerPoint Slideshow.
To send the slideshow file via email, you can refer to this article "How to Email a PowerPoint Presentation", at http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/blog/how-to-email-a-powerpoint-presentation/
