I have an accounting project due tomorrow. My school’s computers use microsoft powerpoint 2007 and on my home computer I only have microsoft powerpoint 2003…Is it possible to open up my powerpoint presentation on 2007 if i take the powerpoint from my computer and put it on a jump drive and import it to the computer at school?
Yes, 2007 versions of Microsoft Office are backward-compatible with 2003 and earlier versions.
Yes, you can still open it in 2007.
Yes, it works.
I dont know if it worked when it was the other way around though =)
(you having powerpoint 2007 and your school 2003)
Yes, powerpoint 2003 files can be opened in powerpoint 2007
You do not have to import it….just run it. I believe if you make changes, you can save in powerpoint 2003 as well…. always to a save as to be able to choose this option.
A good idea might be to open the file on your jump drive at school, then save the file on the computer at school before presenting.
Sometimes, jump drives can get overwhelmed by opening files if editing is being done…so it is a good practice to do this step.
Absolutely yes.
Yes, of course.
