Well, the easiest way is to save your PowerPoint presentation into a safer format like DVD and video, as PowerPoint files haven’t got a good stability which may cause problems when it works on another computer.

I think you can use Moyea PPT to DVD Converter, a professional software program used to convert PowerPoint to DVD/video so that you don’t need to worry about if it can work on a different PC. And all the animations, sounds and other effects will also be preserved in the converted video.

In additon, you can add new backgroud music during the conversion.

Go to http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/ppt_to_dvd/ to get a free trial of the smart tool!

You’ve got to bring the original video clip together with the presentation, also make sure that you have time to check the video on the presentation computer and fix things up if it’s in a mess.

Most free and even some paid animations you can find in the internet is frankly very bad, however I’ve found one that is much better than the others I’ve found: http://www.animationfactory.com/en/ (if anyone knows another good source of animations, I would be interested)

GRAAAHHHHH…. GO AWAYYYY.. THAT NOISE IS KILLING MEEEE

RULE #1: Don’t include background music for presentation, it disturbs the audience’s concentration.

  • If you want to put a video into a PowerPoint 2007,refer to this passage:

Embed a Video into PowerPoint 2007

    If PowerPoint 2003,refer to
How to insert a Movie (or video) into PowerPoint 2003? at
    http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/powerpoint-knowledge/how-to-insert-movie-into-powerpoint.html

    Notice:
    # Always put the video in the same folder as your PowerPoint presentation.
    # When you later move the PowerPoint presentation to another computer, copy the video too.
    # Keeping your video in the same folder as your presentation ensures the link will still work.
    # You should always test the video on a new machine just to be certain. Re-insert it, if necessary.
