Most projectors are compatable with all brands of laptops. You will need a VGA cable or a S-Video cable to hook your laptop to the projector. After doing so, turn on the computer and the projector. After the projector warms up you should see your screen being projected on the wall. If you dont, you may have to hit a series of keys such as the function key + the key that has a little monitor on it.(normally F2 or F3).

Does your projector have a VGA input (same as a PC monitor) or just TV style s-video inputs?

If it has VGA you can just plug your laptop into it using a 15-pin VGA cable, otherwise you'll need support for TV-out on your laptop.

Once you have the laptop connected to the projector you may need to hit a key on the keyboard to redirect your screen to the external monitor port - usually this involves pressing the "fn" key on your laptop and one of the F-keys at the top (it'll have a small picture of a monitor on it, most likely).

Then the projector will work just like your computer's display and you can use Powerpoint as you would normally.

no software is needed other than what you have. you'll connect your laptop using the cables from the projector. normally, to enable the projector, from the laptop, you hit alt f8. on your f keys, there should be a picture of a screen or it might say monitor...hold the alt key down and hit that f key at the same time. doing it once will display on both the laptop and the projector, a 2nd time will display only on the projector.

simply next screen in ppt .

Good luck!

Hookup the video cable from laptop to projector. After turning on the laptop and the projector you might have to toggle the screen by holding down the FNC key and hit F8 I think.

You don't need software for a projector and more than you need software for a monitor. That's just silly.

There should be a cable that connects the projector to a video output on your laptop. Once that's hooked up, you just run powerpoint like you normally would.

All a projector does is project exactly what is on the screen. You'll probably just hook it up to your VGA port on the back of your notebook and all will be good.

Plug the projector into the output in the back of the CPU. Then you will notice on your keybboard a F7 key. Using the FN and F7 key together will allow you to switch the output between your screen, the projector, or your screen and the projector.

Itll be pretty straight forward i think

just hook up all the cords where theyre meant to be, and your laptop will pick it up im sure, and walk you through the process - computers are awesome when it comes to user friendly stuff

You should have S-Vid out on your laptop or a external VGA port. Run the S-Vid Cable or VGA to the printers in.

The IT guy should be able to help you.
