Sounds like you sent him a zipped pps file and he doesn’t use winzip or know how to unzip a file in Windows. Try just attaching the file in an email. If its a really large file, you may have to zip it, as there is a file size limit that all ISP’s (Internet Service Provider) have. If the PowerPoint file exceeds this, then you will have to zip it to get it to him via email.
You might need a program called winzip or aanother compression program. You should be able to just right click the file and click “unzip” or “extract”.

The “zipping” happened when you sent the file, not when you created it.
Try to resend it. When you attach the file to the email, choose the attachment option of sending the file as is, without zipping.
