I have to give a presentation for an Academic Counselor position. The selection committee expects me to put a PowerPoint presentation together explaining why should students enroll at their school. Yet, I do not have access to PowerPoint nor know anyone who has immediate access or who I could use theirs. My presentation is due tomorrow at 3pm est. I have notes I can use and give information on how I would present it, but I do not have the technology to put it together although I have skills.

  • Stuart:

Head over to and download Open Office.

    It has a PowerPoint equivalent.

get the programme quick-smart. why have you delayed? you must have had at LEAST a week to prepare, so why have you left it so late? if they asked for a PP presentation, that’s what they’ll expect.

    Hi

I would use Google Docs. Nothing to download and you can give your presentation from any computer, whether it’s Mac, PC, or LINUX.

Follow Stuart’s advice. But make sure you save the file you create in .ppt format so that you can then open it with Microsoft PowerPoint.
